Hey all,
Rather British feel to this blog post, hope your tea and biscuits are at hand…
* The rather marvellous UK kids comic The DFC looks like it’s going to be shut down. There’s a campaign been lauched to try and save it, maybe have a look and see what’s up?
* Britian has recently seen some of its most paranoid anti-terror (despite seeming to promote people being terrified) adverts. The blogosphere has surpassed itself in mocking these - take a peek
* I should be at The UK Web & Mini Comix Thing 2009 (just as a regular punter) this Saturday - it looks rather cool.
Have fun,
L
Sorry for posting two comics-which-are-actually-graphs in less than a week. I’m waist-high in dissertation work at the moment and this is all I had the time to do. Plus that dissertation has many many graphs in it and they’re all I can seem to think about.
A wee bonus comic for y’all:

Interesting to know what people actually see here (mine is option a).
This bonus comic may serve in lieu of an actual update at some point this week. I have a dissertation write up due in and a job interview in the near future, so life is rather hectic. I’ll keep you posted.
Some cool things:
- I’ve really enjoyed Blurred Lines Comics recently, Maybe you will too?
- And if you’ve never read the excellent Gunnerkrigg Court why not start now, from the beginning?
- Spud Comics is rather good as well.
Be happy,
Luke
P.S. If you are a ‘Watchmen‘ fan and haven’t yet seen Saturday Morning Watchmen, then uh… see it.
Hey!
*Apologies if you’ve seen today’s comic before, I think I used it in a blog post a few months ago but it got lost in one of the redesigns. So I decided to slot it into the main archives as a Thursday ‘bonus’. They’ll be a brand new ‘toon tomorrow.
* There’s now a Facebook Page for the comic, joining up would be super cool, and may even entitle you to future bonus features (possibly).
*Some awesome person submitted Wednesday’s comic to Digg. If you dig it, Digg it.
*Today will see the triumphant return of the wonderful Answer Me This Podcast. If you’re not yet a listener, now is a great time to start!
Be happy,
Luke
