Hey,
Just to point out that the background cityscape in Wednesday’s toon isn’t my work, but rather that of ‘Vector Portal‘ - it’s available for general use under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License.
The Creative Commons license is great, because it allows for the distribution and remixing of creative works control as long as attribution is given - hopefully allowing shiny new things to result. The comics on this site are licensed under similar license which, in general, allows use of the comics, or works derived from them, to be used in any non-commercial setting as long as a link back is provided. So if you have a cunning plan of some way of using the comics that fits the above then that would be a) legal and b) awesome. Email me if you have an idea but aren’t sure if it fits the CC license, plus I can possibly help out with some technical aspects (zipped files of all the comics, high-res versions etc.)
A dude who’s done something like this can be round over at Comics Roulette, a sweet concept which loads up random ‘toons each time from a whole load of comics (including some of mine). Try it, you might find something new!
Peace
L
So yeah, today’s comic is not the usual LukeSurl.com fare. It’s actually the result of a 24 hour comics marathon I did a few months ago. I might do something like this again, but probably not for a while. Normal service will resume Monday.
In other news: the first ever LukeSurl.com book is on general sale! Get it while it’s hot - once they’re gone it’ll never be printed again. It’s like a little piece of history… or something…
Have fun
L
