  1. Luke says:

Written by Luke – Art by Wendy Wood of Gilbert and The Grim Rabbit – don’t fear the reaper, because it’s a cute pink bunny – read it today!

  2. Ahmed says:

    Oh, the poor zapped sheep…

  3. MB says:

    like it :)
Here’s an old Harry Hill joke you may like: “Black sky at night…NIGHT! Black sky in the morning…I’ve woken up at night again!”

  4. MrGBH says:

Red sky at night, shepherds delight.
Red sky at morning, some buggers set the barn on fire.

  5. I have only heard this applied to sailors.

  6. Leah says:

Yeah, I’ve only heard it with sailors, too.

  7. Luke says:

@Leah + Steve, I guess there are regional variations? I grew up with the shepherds one

  8. Miss E says:

I grew up with shepherds too. But I’m in a pastoral area, so it’s probably sailors when you live by the sea. Is it ‘factory workers’ in big cities?

  9. Pete says:

nope its : “‘Director, Head of CEEMA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) and Latin America Equity Focus, Institutional Client Group – Fundamental Equity, Corporate & Institutional Banking – Global Markets, Deutsche Bank AG” in big cities

  10. Dale says:

Thought it was: Red sky at night, shepherds delight, red sky at morning, sailor’s warning

  11. Pyleic says:

    Wow, this is entirely different from the one what my gra’ma taught me;

Red in the night, go at first light
Red in the morning, danger is forming.

  12. Vato says:

I’ve heard it with sailors, but this one appears much more useful. nice sheep, BTW.

  13. wendyw says:

The version in the comic is the only one I’d ever heard until the discussion on here.
It’s funny. You’d think I’d know the sailor one too having grown up in a naval town, but I never heard it before now.
