   I know I’m a music geek when one of the first things I notice is that the time signatures don’t match up with the song… and I’m a chem major!

     That is the actual score. In some songs the first and last bars are half as long as all the others.

       The problem is that the top one’s time signature says common time, when it’s written in 3/4.
