I did a 4-year degree in chemistry, and this, comic 329, is the first comic vaguely about the subject. It's probably indicative of how much I listened in lectures.

    or, you know, you COULD just expose it to heat and/or light, in which case a radical reaction will break down the O-O bonds, and then those radicals would result in water with oxygen dissolved in it. Until the oxygen “bubbles out” of the liquid.
