Y’know, I used to work in a store in Southend at the same time it got robbed (Well, the guy attempted to rob it, but I faught him off). If there had been as many CCTV cameras around as some people believe, we might have caught him. Since there weren’t any, we didn’t even get a good shot of him.
I like the alt-text though.
I’ve had two bikes nicked from city centres. In both cases there were lots of cameras around, but none of them picked up anything useful. To me it seemed like they neither prevented crime nor assisted in them being solved.
Which only proves MORE cameras are needed!

I think it’s something British, from Britain that British people get. Just surveillance cameras of some sort.
