    I think, though I may be incorrect, that it is referring to how electrons are particles, but also have some characteristics of waves, as shown when passing through a diffraction grating.

      How’s that quantum mechanics? Isn’t that just chemistry?

        Not technically, since it is referring to the “quantum” nature of electrons. Chemistry involving electrons has more to do with bonds and reactions between atoms and molecules. I think, anyway.

        Good solid hard SF author who is a great scientist and not creepy. He’s too busy to do SF (tears) but he’s doing great science that’s on the edge. These are some of the best written articles for the advanced layman I’ve read.

    I’m definitely a big fan of the quantum noir.
    This comic is to physics, what Young Frankenstein is to biology.
