This comic either set in a parallel universe where the UK has adopted the dollar and drives on the right, or one where the US uses british road markings and police uniforms. 🙂

Those are some crazy looking road markings I must say. Clearly I’m not British.

Sean: Basically, those lines say you can’t park there.

    Heh.

We don’t have road markings like that here in Aus., but we do drive on the left side of the road AND use the $ for our currency 😛

If you’re going to do a bank robbery it makes sense to park temporarily nearest the curb. Incidentally, those double yellow lines mean no parking, but it is acceptable to alight or pick-up passengers temporarily and perform loading/unlocking if that’s the only suitable location without exception signs or loading limitation markings (double-white perpendicular dashes on curb stones). I love the 8% rate - that’s either an optimistic savings account or a rather poor mortgage repayment 🙂

It could be some Americans that’ve come to Britain to rob a bank (Or they just thought it would be a fun thing to do on holiday).

Knock over a British bank, but only take the American Dollars, leave the pounds and Euros behind?

Never noticed that wiper blades (typically) are oriented differently for right-hand-drive….

We can’t see the money itself, but these are clearly imported bank-robber bags bought on sale in the American Bank Robbers Association Auction House. All self-respecting bank robbers buy from them.

Here in Canada, such lines would mean “not recommended to pass over these lines”.
    Still works, eh?
