“…tens of people!” I like it, but I don’t believe it. Either way, keep ‘em coming — the word will spread.

Fewer that 24 hours? I expect better than this, Luke Surl! But I do like the comic!

You know, once you get 24 readers you can say you have dozens!

I know the answer! The next time the cartoonist needs you, you pop back to life.

Well, so far you seem to have threes of people commenting. It’s like an intellectual way of shouting ‘First!’

If I admit to being one of the eleven readers can I know where the people in the comic go when I’m not looking?

I love the comic! I suspect that you have at least a few thousand viewers.

Well, my comment makes twelve, so you have at least a dozen.

Oh come on! If you go to one of the biggest comics websites, there is one strip (Pibgorn) that has a small but rabidly devout following and no one complains about the size of the audience.

The comic that forces all the lurkers to post
You can say like this comic is an official census of readers

If I read your comic, and I know other people who read your comic…then I can say, that’s at least a few more.
