Hrmmm, that reminds me, I need to call my provider again to complain that they’re not doing their job. Are there actually any UK broadband providers who supply what they say, or do I need to move to Canada, where internet is magic just like everything else?

I don’t know what you mean, I’ve read dinosaur comics, everything in Canada is majic! It’s so majic, it trades the ‘g’ out for the far more majic letter ‘j’, dammit!

    I. HATE. MY. BROADBAND. COMPANY.

When they say ‘up to’ 20 meg, they mean that you’ll get 4 meg, on average.

I live in one of the below average areas. because our local train company won’t let anyone dig up the road to place new cables, I have only one option of broadband provider.

Sprint gives me a connection to a 3Mbs network. My specific connection is 115Kbs. Every once in a while, they slip up and I actually get a 3G connection…
