Blog: Oh my darling, oh my darling…

by Luke on February 11, 2009 at 12:01 am

avatar80Oh my darling ClemantineBeauvais.com, fellow Cambridge Comicer and the other party in today’s comic swap.

You’ll have to head over there to see what I drew for today. While your there cheack out some of the other stuff, but don’t be too entralled by the prettiness of the watercolours, I do expect you to come back.

Onto other business. I’m getting into the whole StumbleUpon thing again, and was thinking: clearly if you read LukeSurl.com you must be a Lord or Lady of exquisite taste, thus it would be marvellous to be stumbleupon co-subscribers with any of you. I’m “onethousandwords”; if you click “subscribe to favourites” I’ll endeavour to do likewise and it shall be wonderful.

Peace and love,

Luke

P.S. Another review! Heh, “Surl’s world”. Wish I’d thought of that.

Blog: Tweet speak

by Luke on February 4, 2009 at 7:19 pm

avatar80Hey all,

Item One: I’m on twitter! I’ll use it to announce new updates with a little bit of “director’s commentry” on occasion. That and maybe the odd drifting thought or two.

Item Two: This Friday I’m going to be acting in a short play called ‘The Golem’, up in Camden town (London). It’s part of an evening of short plays and live music and promises to be generally awesome. If you happen to be in the area, why not come along? Details can be found here.

Item Three: I currently have more comic ideas then I can draw, want to use one? Take a looksee here.

Item Four: At some point in the medium-term future I may drop to a twice-a-week schedule. Sorry, I gotta write a dissertation. I’ll have to play it by ear.

Item Five: The Comic ‘Slow Wave‘ is brilliant - Comics based on people’s dreams!

Peace and love,

Luke

  • There's an "Occupy Norwich" in the centre of town. I fail to find that anything but wonderfully endearing.
