I’m pretty confident the Sci-Fi reference in this comic is going to alienate more people than will appreciate it. And that’s exactly why I left it in.

Postscript: I drew this fictional comic for teh lols, not as a cry for sympathy or anything - though if you’d like to persuade all your friends to read and/or buy my comic, please go ahead. Regular readership of the comic is pretty difficult to estimate, though I think it’s about 2.5K, the majority via RSS.
I drew some lines, so let me know,

But now you never scroll down that far now do ya?
Graph lovers can now get Losing the Plot, my mini maths-based comic, from the Luke Surl Comics store.
So this one’s a little introspective for us comic exhibitors, but I’m hoping its amusing enough for the rest of ya. Also see Mr. Dan Berry who did some rules for people on the other side of the tables.
I’ll be following all these rules at Thought Bubble this weekend. See you there maybe?
Last point, because of Thought Bubble preparations etc. I’ll be skipping Friday’s update. New comic up on Monday.
At those prices the books in the Luke Surl Comics shop are basically a steal.

Hey there!
So we’re in the middle of the winter con season and this Saturday I’ll be behind (half) a table at the Comiket in London. It’s a fun little comic mart, with free entry and various other fun things going on. It’s a neat way to be introduced to the strange world of UK indie comics, if you come along and say hi I’ll point you in the direction of various fun things. I’ll also have some things to sell.
But there’s more! Now you can get things from me without having to see my face (a huge bonus by all accounts), I now have an online shop! You can get genuine dead-tree editions of Improbable Consequences and Weapons-Grade Puntonium delivered to your door, or shiny DRM-free high resolution PDFs beamed straight into your computer/iPad/Microsoft Zune. May I suggest Puntonium would make a lovely Christmas present for your dear Aunt Geraldine?
Thanks!
L
P.S. If you want to ‘support the comic’, but would rather not pay for a book to fly halfway round the world, can I suggest getting a digital copy of Improbable Consequences? Minus Paypal fees, all that you pay for this goes to Luke and I, plus there’s cartoons in there that are 100% exclusive to the book.
Four score and seven years ago you couldn’t have visited the Luke Surl Comics store. But now you can. For freedom, liberty, and ‘cos Luke wants a new jetski.
The Luke Surl Comics store is a true diamond in the rough.
Yes! After delaying this far far too long, I have finally set up an online shop. Currently I’ve got two products up there, my compendium ‘Weapons-Grade Puntonium‘ and Luke Healey’s and my book ‘Improbable Consequences‘ (‘cos two Luke are better than one).
Both books are available both as print and DRM-free PDF digital versions. (Fun fact, with the money saved on printing & shipping the artist(s) make as much from either version, so you’re supporting us equally with either choice).
I’ll talk a bit about ’WGP’ on Wednesday. I could write lots about Improbable, but it’s far more succinct to point you to some of the cartoons that have been posted here. There’s a lot of the cartoons which will are book-exclusive however.
May I suggest these books would make excellent Christmas presents foryour friends, family, acquaintances, mortal enemies etc.
Have fun, and consider clicking here.
Luke
While technically I have kept my promise to have books available online today, I’m not going to tell you where that is quite yet.
(I’m away for a few days so wouldn’t be able to process any orders). Will officially launch very soon!
