Been a big fan in recent weeks of the Tim and Simon’s Brainspill podcast. It’s much good, and broadcast from Shrewsbury, the mightiest of towns.
From 10pm today (Tuesday) they’re putting out a 24-hour podcast marathon, which should be quite entertaining (possibly more for us than them come hour 21 or so!). It’s for The Alzheimer’s Society and they’re hoping to raise £1000 - you are strongly encouraged to lend your ears and give your money.

The secret to appearing to be a butch, manly handyman is to remember the rhyme for screws: “Righty Tighty; Lefty Loosey”.
The other secret to appearing to be a butch, manly handyman is to never say that out loud.
If you haven’t heard the news…
My instinct is that it’ll turn out not to be the case - but hey, it’s really exciting! Viva la revolution!
My Einstein action figure wasn't too pleased...
Something a little different today! This is something that I storyboarded and was drawn by Steve Ingram of Blurred Lines Comics.
I’ve had this idea for a short comic rattling around my head for a while now, and as I got down to sketching out my ideas, I realised that I could only see it done in Steve’s style. I’m super psyched that he agreed give it a go, and really, really happy with how it’s turned out. Hopefully you are too!
If you’re not already, I’d totally recommend being a reader of Blurred Lines, it’s a collection of excellent comic-form stories. Personally, I’d start with UPGRADE and then peruse the rest of the archive for more comic goodness.
Gee Brain, what are we going to do tonight? Read this other cartoon about us of course!

Howdy,
So yeah, after a two month break where I moved house and all of that, it’s back to regular 3-a-week comics. Hope you enjoy! I have a few fun things in the works as well, will keep you posted.
Ciao,

Based on a true story. I moved house a few weeks ago - didn’t go so far as above but did end up watching almost an entire episode of ‘Deal or No Deal’ on the TV *shudder*.
Anyhow, LukeSurl.com is back, and will be resuming normal thrice-weekly service for the foreseeable future! Stay tuned!
