    The Death card is underneath the Taxes card, which to me would signify that the Death card was placed first, followed by the Taxes card. Which would mean that you will die, and THEN be taxed.

    I think ttthe positioning of the cards means that you will suffer ‘Death by taxes’. It’s where the stress of working out the tax you should have paid, the tax you actually paid and then trying to explain to the Inland Revenue why they should give you your money back, kills you.

    The next card is “lost data.” The third thing in life that is always certain to occur.
