[Comicshowtables] MCM Comic Con Artist Alley Registration is NOW Open for our 2021 events!

Dear Creator!

MCM Comic Con Artist Alley applications are now open. As promised, here is your application form to apply for an Artist Alley table at MCM London (22-24 October) and MCM Birmingham (13-14 November) in 2021 via our new process.

Please fill out the form you choose fully, particularly the credentials section. Note that this is a table request form and filling it out does not guarantee you space. If you exhibited at any previous MCM events, you still need to reapply.

Artist Alley applications for MCM London and MCM Birmingham will close at 5:00 PM BST on Monday, 9 August, 2021.

Artist Alley will no longer be first-come, first-served; we will be curating Artist Alley and each application will be reviewed by committee in a juried process. After a registration period, we will review all applications and let you know if we are able to offer you a table; the order that we receive applications does not have an impact on whether you receive a table – each application will be reviewed equally.

If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email that will include a link for payment. As per previous years, you will have a deadline for payment before it expires – in which case you’d need to apply again.

Over the past year, we’ve been excited to work directly with many of you to help keep connected to your fans and customers virtually amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s something that we’ll continue to do throughout the rest of the year and beyond.

I know you must have a heck of a lot of questions about tabling in Artist Alley at a 2021 convention, so here are answers to a few of the most frequently asked ones:

1.      We will be running all our shows with reduced capacity. With our new safety precautions in place, attendance and badges will be very limited so that we can ensure physical distancing. We’re working closely with each convention center to determine how many people are permitted in the building every day and at a given time.

2.      We are requiring approved face coverings for all individuals attending our events, including our exhibitors and staff. They must be worn at all times within our venues. For more information, you can visit the FAQ pages on each of our show websites.

3.      Can I apply for Artist Alley at multiple shows? Yes! You are encouraged to apply for an Artist Alley table at any of the above conventions you’re interested in. Applications will be evaluated on a per-show basis and approval for one does not guarantee approval for all.

I know there are a lot more questions that what I’ve shared here. We’ll be sharing more information in the coming months and are committed to being as transparent as possible. In the meantime, if you have specific inquiries regarding Artist Alley, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected]

Also, we are currently accepting applications for panels at all 2021 conventions. You can find more information and apply here.
