Actually at the time of writing I'm not earning enough to pay taxes. I'm assuming that means I can't die.

The Death card is underneath the Taxes card, which to me would signify that the Death card was placed first, followed by the Taxes card. Which would mean that you will die, and THEN be taxed.

    :-) Have a nice weekend!

@Steve – Ah yes, you’ve discovered that this is actually a scathing critique of the British inheritance tax system. Or something. Maybe.

    :)

I think ttthe positioning of the cards means that you will suffer ‘Death by taxes’. It’s where the stress of working out the tax you should have paid, the tax you actually paid and then trying to explain to the Inland Revenue why they should give you your money back, kills you.

The next card is “lost data.” The third thing in life that is always certain to occur.

  • You've probably heard the story about me marrying two 86-year old women. Don't believe it, it's just an old wives tale.
